Share a smile with me. But actually...take the time to smile at this post. Did you feel a bit odd smiling at a blog entry? That's cool. That means that the smile I was trying to share got through to you. If you didn't smile, find the time to smile at anyone you meet today. It may seem odd, and a bit experimental...but if you share good vibes, the world feels like a better place.
Seriously!! I'll give you some examples. I take a train on a daily basis. I find myself having a better day when I share smiles with people that lock eye contact with me. I feel somewhat connected to my environment. On the other end, there are days I'm stuck on my phone or i'm just not smiley at all. What I've noticed is that I don't feel as connected to anything during those moments. The environment isn't friendly and it feels lame as FUH.
I'm not saying smile at the world, but it's nice to share some smiles from time to time. It's easier to remember people you walk by that way. It's easier to go about your day knowing your in a cool city. It's dope as fuh feeling the thrill of making someone's day a little bit better. Some people will find you odd and that's totally okay. Majority of folk won't expect a smile from anyone. The surprise counts the most.
I'll leave you with a moment that surprised me today. On my foot route to work, I noticed a girl from a far looking at me and walking towards my direction. My eyes were locked on her eyes as I walked in her direction. As we approached a closer proximity to each other, our bodies slightly slow motioned. I was shocked, as that only happened years ago as a teen. I was so shocked at the event, I couldn't smile at the moment; but I did smirk. Priceless. Magical moments happen everyday...if you pay attention.
So, I won't proofread this entry...
