Actually, I can … using Google freaking maps.
I don’t have a magic carpet. I don’t have the money to book you a flight to the nearest Caribbean island. I don’t even have the desire to buy you a drink at the bar.
( Maybe, if I like the aura you add to the ambiance of the room ... just maybe )
Look, I’d rather buy you a book. I like my women independent. I’d be totally fine, knowing that a woman doesn’t need me, because in all honesty, I don’t need her either.
However, that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t CHOOSE to be your Knight In Shinning Armor. (No glitter please. The imagination of a woman is … excessively shiny.) If you’re a woman, you may have not even considered glitter, but I’m just putting my cards on the table for you … just in case … you like … glitter.
Back to the topic; independence … If you are an independent woman, I will have more of a reason to rely on you for things. I know, in the back of my mind, I can count on you. Do I actually need you?
… heck no.
I’m sure it’s a mutual feeling if you, the reader, are a woman too. (So read this as if you were me, sharing your thoughts to a man, or a group member/coworker, or whatever)
It sure does feel great having someone you can rely on. It feels even better caring for that person and being inclined to aiding each other in our ultimate, life long goals. Yet, never forget, being in each other’s presence is a choice. haha. Life isn’t all cuddly. Someone has to do the heavy lifting and if we aren’t heavy lifting together, I rather do that shyt on my own. I know, that no matter the circumstance, the deed will be completed on my end, with or without you. Am I right, or am I right?
I love and appreciate those who are able to get things done, BIG TIME. I like the idea of being productive in the same room with someone with a similar mission. Doesn’t have to be the same mission at all, but if the end results compliment the end product … well, I’ll be damned. *smirk*
Sooooo, in the end ...
I can show you the world …
Shining, shimmering, splendid … (Aladdin reference)
~ cough cough ~
Just be ready to share the experience. Fuuuuuh … I’m trying to see the world too. LOL I can do this shyt by my very lonesome.
I’m self-reliant. Sorry, not sorry.
