It’s as simple as that!
Even so, we complicate the very notion by searching for happiness elsewhere. In many cases, those who take on the lifelong journey in hopes of finding happiness discover that they now belong to an endless paradox; a cycle of happiness and unhappiness. A close mate of mine would immediately say, “What the French TOAST are you talking about Julio?” (I’ve filtered that question for the sake of keeping the blog pure.)
Look, I’ll elaborate for you. The endless cycle begins when individuals can’t find happiness within themselves. These individuals begin searching for happiness elsewhere, usually in the people whom they grow fond of. Once they find it, the happiness emitted from their counterpart fills a void that was once empty (so they think). Are you following me? Think of the person extracting that happiness from the other person as a leech. Eventually, the genuinely happy person will run dry, right?
Well, in that case, let’s hypothetically say that the happy person is no longer emitting a happy-go-lucky aura. The once unhappy individual becomes unhappy as well, forcing them to grow all different kinds of emotions. These emotions begin to push the happy person away and the once unhappy individual, is back at the drawing board.
Sad story, isn’t it? Here’s what makes the situation an endless cycle; that specific individual is unhappy, then happy, then unhappy, then happy as a result of searching for happiness elsewhere and not from within. The example stated holds true for relationships between people, but what if we create a scenario in relation to work? Same shiz-nit my nizzle. LOL
Hey, stay away from searching for happiness elsewhere. Make it your business to find happiness within yourself and everything else will fall into place. Your jobs might become your passion, your counterpart might become your soul mate and life will be just peachy (with cream on top if you’re about that life).
Avoid being caught in that cycle of unhappiness. In my opinion, that shyt isn’t healthy, but to each their own. All in all, find yourselves, embrace life as it is and strive for more by working towards it.
