Well then ...
Let me start off by saying WOW!!
Now that I live closer to everyone, it’s a lot easier to host special events throughout the year. Hosting is something I love doing from time to time.
The adrenaline rush that leads up to any event is addicting, but can also feel stressful as S***!! Nonetheless, the moments that led up to this weekend’s Halloween Party, “Halloween Horrors with Views,” were beyond worth experiencing. I thoroughly enjoyed the rush of having to prepare the apartment for a clean, decorative set up. With time ticking down, the apartment needed to be perfectly decorated and well lit for a horrific, yet memorable, experience. bahahaaaaa
Swarms of bats and “Danger” tape swarmed and surrounded the walls, respectively. Ghouls and skulls provided the proper creepy accents, and the red lights created a bloody & ominous venue. Did I mention that spider webs stretched across the ceiling with various critters crawling throughout each strand? The webs stretched from the entrance and ended at the DJ booth.
Ah yesssss, I can’t forget the creepy Halloween Music as we initially entered the apartment. muahahahaha. Attention to every detail is important when creating a memorable experience for a crowd.
Alright alright, it wasn’t that much of a horror scene but the red lights gave it an uber creepy vibe. Not to mention, the amount of light seeping in from the windows, combined with the disco lights gave the party a grown and classy vibe. I hope everyone enjoyed the decorations!! Unfortunately for the spider web, I needed to cut the webbing that ran across the ceiling. Doing so actually added a more creepy vibe to the decorated walls. I loved it!!!
We never ran out of drinks and the music was bumping all night long.
Special thanks to my guys for the help and my neighbors for co-hosting.
We nailed Halloween in the coffin this year!!
The aftermath was contained pretty well. Everyone arrived home safely and clean up took place immediately after waking up from our naps. Monday morning was pretty lame because I had a slight fever but I managed to sweat majority of that bug out of my system by nightfall.
... And now, I’m sitting with my right hand creative mogul bro getting work done for the week. We have a number of solo projects lined up, but we also have some upcoming collaborations that you guys should get ready for. Hehe. We always have something up our sleeves. The winter is upon us and this is definitely the time where we kick into the highest of gears.
Surround yourself with productivity and you will reign champion at what we know as life. Don’t get us wrong, we know how to party…hehe…but it is very important to capitalize on every day before and after events such as the “Halloween Horrors with Views.”
Alright my JuliPeep!! Time to work on some video work. I’ll catch you on the next blog. <(^_^)
