One of the easiest things to do … is give up …
… avoiding the requirement of facing the difficulty behind attempting to understand the intricacies lurking under the very reasons for something’s existence.
We live in a time where patience no longer exists in abundance, which in turn places the very necessary component of understanding in peril. This then leads to the component of effective communication, which allows for 2 or more entities to understand points of views in hopes of attaining an end goal. In order to successfully move forward with anything that involves other people, we ourselves need to be open to the idea of communication.
I ask you to think clearly and comprehensively here:
One must first be willing and able to be a part of something bigger than themselves, with hopes of attaining a greater goal. For example, there has to be a drive to engage from within, which will aid in keeping the individual attentive and participating in whatever relationship stands before them.
One must allow themselves to engage with their vulnerabilities in hand. The most intimate relationships begin with vulnerable exchanges. Take any sports team for example; the teams that always reach the top are those with the best chemistry, and chemistry can only be created by the mixture of vulnerabilities.
Finally, one must allow themselves to understand without being defensive. In knowing each other’s vulnerabilities, the team players can work more efficiently. Understanding requires an open mind while also requiring the ability to correlate new notions & concepts with the way that we are currently wired to think. In doing so, we grow emotionally and psychologically.
In conclusion, effective communication has its challenges; we all need to be selfless team players. In no way, shape or form, does that mean that you’ll lose your identity. Not at all. You may continue to be your own character in your own world; however, it is very important to understand that the idea of effective communication is crucial to any and all team success. (This applies to all types of relationships)
I guess I’ll end were I started …
The easiest thing to do is give up and not communicate at all. It’s very easy to simply avoid interactions with other people all together. It’s very easy to keep one’s thoughts to one’s self. It’s very easy to attempt to reach your own goals on your own, without the help of anyone else. It’s very easy to wake up in the morning and stay in bed. It’s very easy to live in the comfort of your own bubble. It’s very easy to live within your means.
If anything, remember this …
Progress is and will forever be a product of some struggle. Growth is and will forever be a product of the desire within a person to persevere beyond their struggle. Wisdom is and will forever be a product of patiently & critically understanding every aspect of your struggle along the way.
Success is and will always be a choice, that stems from your ability to mix struggle, perseverance, patience, understanding and love for what your are currently engaging in.
Choose to love. Choose to grow. Choose to be wise. Choose to surround yourself with an environment that will challenge you to progress. Choose to communicate effectively with the people that matter most to you.
Choose to understand, my Julipeep!
Everything in life is a choice and it begins with you …
